about africa 2030

A Vision Born From Burden, Built With Purpose

Africa 2030 began as a response to three painful realities: the silent suffering of unemployed youth, the abandonment of once-vibrant retirees, and the unfulfilled potential of a rich but dependent continent. It’s not just a project, it’s a people powered movement to restore dignity, purpose, and productivity to every African household.

This vision believes that true transformation starts when ordinary people stop waiting and start building. By connecting faith, skills, and local solutions, Africa 2030 empowers young and old to rise together.

“Africa doesn’t need more critics. It needs more creators.”

A Voice for the Voiceless, A Builder of People

Africa 2030 Vision was founded by Pastor Alex Ocheme, a passionate communicator, strategist, and developer committed to helping Africans move from survival to purpose. With years of experience working with youth, retirees, churches, and communities, he saw a deep crisis and chose to respond with action.

What began as a burden in his heart grew into a continental movement, one that restores dignity to forgotten retirees, unlocks the potential of unemployed youth, and calls Africa to rise with faith and skill. His leadership continues to inspire a generation to stop waiting and start building.

our strategy

A Simple Plan for Big Impact

We believe transformation should be practical, measurable, and people-driven. That’s why Africa 2030 follows a clear strategy that moves individuals and communities from dependency to productivity one skill, one step, and one success at a time.

Choose a trade or digital skill. Get hands-on training through local hubs or online platforms. Learn problem-solving, faith-based values, and money basics all while surrounded by mentors and peers.

  1. Learn: Equip youth and retirees with hands-on trade and digital skills that solve real problems.
  2. Build: Support small businesses, cooperatives, and community projects that generate income and create jobs.
  3. Mentor: Connect generations through structured mentorship between retirees and young people.
  4. Mobilize: Form local teams in churches, schools, and communities to spread the vision and take action.
  5. Produce Locally: Promote value-added production, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance over dependency and imports.
  6. Sustain by Faith & Ownership: Ground everything in purpose, faith, and local ownership so progress lasts beyond projects.
